In short
GA Bridge shows you your own Google Analytics data on your iPhone. It reads that data directly from Google on your device. We don't run servers that receive, store or see it.
What we access
When you sign in with Google, GA Bridge asks for one permission: read-only access to Google Analytics (analytics.readonly). It uses it to:
- list the Google Analytics accounts and properties you can see;
- read reports for those properties, such as users, live visitors, countries, devices, traffic sources and top pages.
GA Bridge cannot change your Analytics settings or data, and it never asks for access to anything else in your Google account. We also receive your name and email from Google sign-in, which are shown in the app's account menu only.
Where your data goes
Requests go straight from your device to Google's Analytics APIs. Results are shown in the app and are not sent to us or to anyone else. Your sign-in is kept in your device's secure keychain by Google's sign-in library.
To show each property's icon, the app loads your sites' public home pages to find their icons, and loads icons for traffic sources (for example google.com). Only the public website address is involved, never your Analytics data.
What we store
On your device only: your app preferences (time frame, sort, hidden properties) and a cache of site icon addresses. We have no account system, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising.
Use of Google data
GA Bridge's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to show you your own analytics, is never transferred to third parties, never used for advertising, and never read by humans.
Removing access
Sign out in the app's account menu to remove your sign-in from the device. You can revoke GA Bridge's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
